As part of Korea Week, Art Plus Gallery presented a special exhibition of Korean contemporary artist Man Chul Oh at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco.

The World of Ceramic 2020 introduced Oh’s distinctive ceramic painting practice, in which traditional Korean ceramic aesthetics are reinterpreted through contemporary artistic language. His works explore the relationship between material, color, surface, and time, revealing the beauty of transformation created through the firing process.

The exhibition provided an opportunity to experience the depth and contemporary possibilities of Korean ceramic art, while celebrating Korean culture and creativity in an international setting.
