Art Plus Gallery presents JAEHYUN KIM’s solo exhibition, Light of Memory, an exploration of memory, identity, and the traces of human experience.
Through sculptural works characterized by reflective surfaces and intricate layers of metallic fragments, KIM JAEHYUN transforms the human form into a powerful visual metaphor. The shimmering surfaces capture and reflect light, suggesting the fragmented and ever-changing nature of memory.
The skull, as a recurring symbol of mortality and human existence, is reinterpreted through an elaborate and luminous material language. Its reflective surface simultaneously conceals and reveals, inviting viewers to consider the relationship between memory, time, identity, and the passage of life.
Light of Memory presents a striking dialogue between material and light, transforming an image associated with mortality into a contemplative object of beauty and remembrance.
