A Matter of Women 2020

A Matter of Women was a special exhibition introducing the diverse artistic perspectives of four distinguished Korean women artists. Through painting and contemporary visual practices, the exhibition explored themes of nature, identity, memory, emotion, and the human experience.

Each artist presented a distinctive visual language shaped by her individual experience and artistic practice. Together, their works offered a multifaceted perspective on contemporary Korean women’s art, bringing personal narratives into dialogue with broader cultural and universal experiences.

The exhibition was organized by Art Plus Gallery as a special cultural program at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco in 2020.
