AWARDS & RECOGNITION
Her paintings are primarily characterized by richly layered colors and lyrical representations of trees, flowers, and natural landscapes, with the recurring series “Beautiful Moment” forming an important part of her body of work.
Artist’s Statement
My paintings begin with a quiet observation of nature and the fleeting moments of beauty that surround us.
Trees, flowers, and landscapes appear repeatedly in my work, not simply as representations of the natural world, but as images through which I explore memory, emotion, and the passage of time. I am particularly interested in the moments that are easily overlooked—the changing light, the rhythm of branches, the presence of flowers, and the subtle atmosphere of a particular place.
Color is central to my practice. Rather than reproducing nature literally, I use layered and expressive colors to transform familiar scenes into emotional landscapes. Through the accumulation of color, texture, and gesture, the visible world gradually becomes a space of inner experience.
My ongoing “Beautiful Moment” series reflects this approach. The works seek to preserve a moment that cannot actually be held: a brief encounter with beauty, a remembered landscape, or a quiet feeling that remains after the moment has passed.
For me, painting is therefore a way of slowing down and looking again. It is a process of translating ordinary experiences of nature into a personal visual language—one that invites the viewer to pause, remember, and discover their own beautiful moments.
